Reaper waveout latency
WebbThe default buffers is 8 x 1024 samples with 184 ms latency so when I'm trying to sing with record monitoring on, it has some delay so I tried to adjust it to 4 x 800 samples which has 72 ms latency, I feel like there's no more delay anymore. Can someone explain what does this buffers do? Will my quality be bad if I set it low? WebbIt probably has similar settings to Reaper. There should be a latency or buffer option. You can try lowering this if you start getting any audio artifacting, push it back up.
