WebTo become an official Reach Out and Read program, there are a few simple steps to complete: collect routine data, submit an application, and determine how your books will be supplied. Once approved, your providers must complete the online training course on program delivery. WebReach Out and Read is the only national pediatric literacy model endorsed by the American Academy of Pediatrics and the only national early literacy organization that partners directly with pediatric providers. Since 1989, Reach Out and Read has grown from a single program in Boston to 6,100 program sites in 50 states.
