During this re-examination, two clinicians experienced in thyroid imaging recorded their joint evaluation of the sonographic features of each nodule on a standardized form. WebThe echogenicity of the nodule exceeds that of the non-nodular parenchyma but is almost as hypoechoic as the strap muscle fiber. If we use non-nodular part as reference than this nodule should be considered as hyperechogenic, if we use healthy thyroid as reference than this nodule is (moderately) hypoechoic.
